The BYOB Bakers have been busy again baking bread, bread and more bread and other baked goods. I love it! I continue to be amazed by all of the fabulous and creative bakers out there. This month, some more wonderful bakers have joined the adventure.
Welcome BYOB Bakers! I hope you enjoy your journey with us as we Bake Our Own Bread in 2011.
We have a fabulous assortment of breads for the BYOB March Roundup. Let’s take a look!

Frieda
of Frieda Loves Bread holds a giveaway at the beginning of every month for her local FB friends. The winner gets a bread of their choice baked and delivered to their home (within a 30 minute drive). This month’s winner chose light and tender doughnuts, made with potatoes. Don’t you wish you lived within 30 minutes of her?
Mmmm…that looks so good!
Heather of Girlichef made some delicious variety of breads and a tutorial on “How to make your own sourdough starter”. Great idea! She said, “it’s not really a bread, but pretty relevant, I think”. I agree. She named her starter Sally. I like that!
Pam of Pam’s Bread made some Dark and Dangerous Cinnamon Buns from KAF. Not to mention the flourless cake. Mmmm…sinfully delicious! She also did a very interesting comparison of heritage flours. I like mesquite flour myself.

The idea behind BYOB is that instead of running to the store to buy a loaf of bread, pastry or sandwich buns, you make them yourself.
