This is an archive of the breads I made in the HBinFive baking group. I didn’t make all of the breads in the book, but it was a fun journey.
The mission of HBinFive was to bake our way though “Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day” by Jeff Hertzberg MD and Zoe Francois. It is basically the same technique as in their first book, Artisan Bread in Five Minutes, but takes the method one step further and incorporates whole grains and healthy ingredients and new recipes as well.
The HBinFive baking group was established by Michelle at bigblackdogs.net.

In a lot of the postings, you’ll notice that the recipe and list of ingredients is not included. This is due to copyright issues. If you want to try any of the breads for yourself, I encourage you to get the Healthy Bread in 5 Minutes book to view the list of ingredients and read the commentary from the authors. This is a revolutionary method for making no knead bread so it’s worth getting the book to learn about it.
